Open Source Consultant
We are looking for an experienced Open Source consultant who is able to assist our enterprise customers in getting the most out of Open Source. You are someone with a strong fascination for Open Source, knowledge (or, even better, first-hand experience) of the technical, legal and business sides of Open Source. Your seniority makes you a trustworthy counterpart to help decision makers get the most out of their Open Source journey.
Ideally, you are involved in one or more well-established Open Source communities, and you have a proven track record in putting Open Source at work within enterprise environments. You don't mind leading a technical team by example. Your technical background sits in enterprise software, preferably in the Java/J2EE arena and ideally with an Agile twist.
You will be part of our multinational team, helping our customer leverage Open Source using our SHARE methodology, which you will be more than welcome to help refine and integrate with your hands-on daily experience. You will also be providing key advice and support around our technology offering, liaising with our developer teams and ensuring our projects are on time and on budget. We also expect significant help to increase our outreach as you will be required to participate to conferences, write articles and perform research on Open Source-related matters.
This position is open on a European level: according to your preferred location, you will be either report to our British, Dutch or Italian offices. Telework is welcome and encouraged.
