Knowledge Management in Fastweb Fastweb selected Sourcesense for improving their knowledge management system

Fastweb needed a complete assessment about their knowledge management portal to understand and estimate what they can do for evolving gracefully capabilities and functionalities. The platform is the current system used by their Customer Care department for retriving informations about how to solving issues reported by their final users.

Thanks to our experience, we helped them with a complete assessment project at any tier level for having a complete overview of improvement points on the Alfresco and Apache Solr side.

  ECM Program Strategy document
We have created a complete ECM program strategy document where we suggested all the components and configurations that can be improved accoarding to the Fastweb domain of interest.

Migration to Alfresco Enterprise edition
We totally managed the migration project for bringing their Alfresco installation in a fully supported state from the Alfresco Support side.

Apache Solr migration and integration
We supported them on customizing and improving custom Alfresco components for injecting contents into their search engine based on Apache Solr. We also worked on Apache Solr for upgrading it to the latest version.

Architectural improvement
The new cluster configuration was designed by us for letting them to support high availability and to guarantee business continuity.
