Sourcesense is EMEA JBoss Partner of the Year 2009
Sourcesense has been elected as the JBoss Partner of the Year within the EMEA area. This achievement has been motivated with the great commitment that Sourcesense is putting in such a technological context; Sourcesense’s commitment includes participation in community activities, expertise in consultancies, focusing in driving Open Source technologies and methodologies into the Enterprise.
Middleware technologies are gaining interest within the Enterprise spectrum of services and solutions, that are becoming every day more focused on standardization, fast time to market and cost optimization.
Open Source software is climbing up the stack.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux is already a solid situation, while the coming phase is seeing the Middleware level of the stack as the fastest growing player.
Middleware technologies include components such as application servers, portal servers, ESB, SOA platforms and data services paltforms. In such a context, JBoss, a division of Red Hat, is playing a key role as a leader within the Open Source Enterprise Middleware industry.
Sourcesense has been successfully commiting for several years to JBoss technologies.
Its focus on middleware technology puts Sourcesense at the forefront both of community development and of consultancy activities. On the community side, some Sourcesense committers are contributing with code, documentation and advising to JBoss.org projects, such as the Portal project; a Sourcesense team has been also working for several months on a new, Open Source project related to the Italian Governement sector, based on JBoss SOA technologies.
Sourcesense JBoss Services currently provide solidity to enterprise, business critical projects within primary Telco and Media organizations.
In addition, Sourcesense is actively organizing, together with Red Hat, some technical and business events allowing customers to get up to date with the technology status.
Recognizing all this, Red Hat elected Sourcesense as the JBoss Partner of the year in EMEA. It happened during the last EMEA Partner Summit (Malta, April 19-23).
This achievement drives Sourcesense to the forefront of the European Middleware integration industry and brings an even bigger commitment for Sourcesense towards the JBoss activities.
